U.S. Space & Rocket Center
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is one of the most visited science and space museums in the country — home to a full-size Space Shuttle Pathfinder, a Saturn V rocket, and the original Space Camp program that has graduated more than 800,000 students since 1982. The museum sits on 150 acres adjacent to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and draws school groups, corporate teams, and tourists from across the Southeast year-round. Exhibits cover Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and the Space Shuttle era, with hands-on simulators and outdoor rocket displays that take hours to properly explore.
Charter bus parking is available on site, and the campus is large enough that a bus drop-off at the main entrance on Tranquility Base saves your group a significant walk from remote public parking.
